Christoph Scheiermann is an associate professor at the Department of Pathology and Immunology of the Faculty of Medicine.

His research focuses on circadian rhythms in the immune response and neural control of the immune system. His group develops novel therapeutic leads to target the immune system in a rhythmic manner such as in the case of vaccinations. For the aspect of neural control, they investigate how central as well as peripheral nervous system (CNS/PNS) responses influence immune cell behavior in peripheral tissues.
