This yearly symposium aims at highlighting the impact of nutrition on microbiota and the subsequent potential for prevention and treatment of diseases. Recent studies suggest that the gut microbiota changes with age and could be involved in age-associated diseases and conditions. It is therefore tempting to hypothesize that nutrition could modulate the gut microbiota, subsequently influence the immune system and finally impact on age-associated diseases and conditions.
The symposium will take place on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at the Auditorium Marcel Jenny of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), from 13 h to 17 h 30.
- Registration is free but mandatory.
- Organisation: Jacques Schrenzel & Laurence Genton Graf
