Project at a glance

How the circadian cycle influences immunity

The group investigates circadian rhythms in immune responses and nervous system control of immunity. They develop therapeutic approaches targeting immune function in rhythmic patterns, such as vaccination timing. The research examines mechanisms sustaining biological rhythmicity over extended periods. Additionally, they study how central and peripheral nervous system responses regulate immune cell behavior in tissues, with emphasis on the sympathetic nervous system. The team integrates circadian rhythm and neural immunity concepts in cancer-focused investigations.
