Project at a glance

Chromatin regulation in brain development and disease

The lab aims to understand what drives brain cell diversity during development, focusing on epigenetic regulators that control chromatin accessibility and gene expression. Research employs epigenome editing technologies, mouse stem cell cultures, in vivo models and genomic techniques to study chromatin regulation mechanisms in the brain, with focus on neurodevelopmental disorders like autism frequently associated with mutations in epigenetic regulators.
