Synaptic brain dysfunctions
The research examines how individuals engage with complex social environments through social cues and dynamic responses. Laboratory employs electrophysiological techniques, calcium imaging, optogenetics and behavioral paradigms to study neuronal mechanisms underlying social behavior. Studies use genetic mouse models related to psychiatric diseases to investigate pathophysiological mechanisms of social behavioral deficits.
