It is our pleasure to welcome Pr Simone Becattini as a new faculty member of iGE3.
Simone Becattini is an assistant professor at the Department of Pathology and Immunology of the Faculty of Medicine. His main research topic is the gut microbiota. His laboratory is interested in understanding the intricate relationship existing between intestinal microbes and the host immune system, and in exploiting the underlying principles to fight infectious and inflammatory diseases.
