    The LS2 Annual Meeting 2017 will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of February, 2017 at the Irchel Campus of the University of Zurich.

    The LS2 Annual Meeting brings together scientists from all nations and backgrounds to explore the large spectrum united under the umbrella of Life Sciences. Discover the latest, most exciting findings in the field, from molecular and cellular biosciences to proteomics and physiology, or enjoy the Satellite Workshop on opportunities in academic and non-academic careers. Scientists who are at the stage to start their own research group and who are interested in doing so in a Swiss research institution are welcome to enter the contest “Tomorrow’s PI”, where the best future projects from diverse disciplines are being showcased.

  4. SKMB Meeting 2016

    SKMB logoGene regulation workshop
    The SKMB Meeting 2016 will take place in Lausanne, on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at the Center for Integrative Genomics, Genopode, Auditorium C. The Gene Regulation Workshop is a one day meeting in Lausanne featuring internationally recognized scientists that work on molecular mechanisms controlling transcriptional and post-transcriptional responses in gene expression to cell-type specific, developmental or environmental cues.   5. 2016 Louis-Jeantet Symposium

    Louis-Jeantet Foundation
    The Louis-Jeantet Foundation is pleased to invite you to the 5th edition of the Louis-Jeantet annual Symposium that will take place on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at the CMU, auditorium A250.

    This fifth edition will be organised by Denis Duboule, chairman of the Department of Genetics and Evolution at the Faculty of Science, University of Geneva and professor at the EPFL School of Life Sciences, and by Konrad Basler, chairman of the Institute of Molecular Life Sciences, University of Zurich.

    Presentations and discussions will concentrate on frontiers in developmental biology.

  8. 14th International Athens/Springfield Symposium on Advances in Alzheimer Therapy

    The 14th International Athens/Springfield Symposium will take place on March 9 to 12, 2016, in Athens, Greece. Leading scientists will discuss new targets and drugs for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and novel approaches to current therapy. An oral communication session will be open to young scientists. Approximately 1000 participants are expected, mostly neurologists, psychiatrists, geriatricians and pharmacologists.
